You may work alone or in a group of up to three. Since you will be working on this project in class, you will need to bring your materials to school. You may have to do research for your project at home. Your grade for the project will be based on how well you work in class and the quality of the project. This assignment is limited only by your imagination! Timeline: You must choose your topic and partner(s) by Wed, June 4. At that time please hand in a oneparagraph summary of your project, including what materials you will be using. You must bring materials to class by Friday, June 6. Be ready to start work!! Festival date is Monday, June 16, 2014. Projects must be completed by June 13 at 11:35 am. Suggestions for projects are on the back! Materials to USE! Some Suggestions: wood clay Popsicle sticks pipe cleaners poster board fabric (sheets, curtains, clothes, etc.) cardboard (grocery boxes, shoe boxes, etc.) glue gun with lots of glue sticks paste markers stencils magazines plaster of Paris newspaper You may not use Legos or sugar cubes or GLITTER! Italian Food provided by Comella’s in West Newton! Pizza, Pasta, Meatballs, Caesar Salad and a beverage! Cost of $8 will cover your lunch that day. Due by June 10. For extra credit, you can bring in a dessert for the dessert table! You only get extra points if it has an ancient history theme to it. For example, you can make beige colored little cupcakes with pyramids on them! Or, you can bake a dessert from ancient times. You will need to research that.
