Unit 8: Heredity
Goal 1: SWBAT distinguish between inherited and acquired traits/characteristics. SWBAT apply an
understanding of dominant and recessive genes to determine an organism’s phenotype. SWBAT explain
how knowledge of inherited variations within and between generations is applied to farming and animal
breeding.
