Title: Communications & Corporate Partnership Manager Reports to: Director of Outreach and Education Status: Full time, exempt The Communications & Corporate Partnership Manager is responsible for creating a strategic marketing plan that includes advertising, collateral materials, email marketing, web, social media, and other content to support the Federation’s brand and communication goals, the annual campaign goals, and support the programs of the Federation. As Corporate Partnership Manager, s/he must be a self-starter and team player who will prospect and network to identify, cultivate, and steward financial and in-kind corporate gifts and partnerships at all levels for the Greensboro Jewish Federation and is responsible for bringing the Gesher Greensboro project to fruition. S/he supervises the Federation Production Designer, Newspaper Editor, and Advertising Representative, and staffs the Federation Marketing Committee and Gesher Greensboro Committee. Overall responsibilities: • Oversee and guide preparation of organizational materials such as print mailers, flyers, invitations, annual report, advertisements as well as various pieces needed for web and other digital use With marketing committee, determine and administer promotional item needs Plan and develop content for website, social media, and print campaigns; overseeing creation of campaigns by production designer Develop and maintain the master marketing calendar along with email marketing and social media posting calendar Assure consistent Federation branding and messaging across marketing & communication vehicles and that deliverables are on strategy, on time, and within budget Oversee branding and use of branding by organization and beneficiary agencies Manage Federation newspaper, overseeing content. Proof read and copy edit all articles. Supervise Advertising Representative, Production Designer, and Newspaper Editor. Federation liaison for local media outlets Staff the marketing committee Corporate Partnership Responsibilities: • Identify new corporate prospects and solicit partnership gifts through cold calls, volunteers' relationships, and stewardship of current sponsors and advertisers • Create and develop, with the Production Designer, marketing materials, customized proposals, and targeted mailings to promote sponsorship and advertising opportunities Ensure that corporate partners are properly recognized and stewarded for their gifts Establish, cultivate, and maintain personal contact and relationships with corporate program offices and marketing executives Liaise with Federation, its constituent agencies, accounting department, and program staff to ensure proper recognition and accounting of partnerships (both cash and in-kind gifts) Achieve targeted revenue goals set with supervisor, reviewing and updating them on a regular basis Gesher Greensboro Project Responsibilities: Create a college internship program to connect area Jewish college students with internships in the Greensboro area Implement a Small Business Loan Program for Jewish Entrepreneurs Create and implement a marketing plan to attract young Jews to Greensboro Staff the Gesher Greensboro committee Qualifications: Strong presence, strategic judgment, and common sense necessary for effective leadership Strong analytic, interpersonal communication, and writing skills Ability to sell ideas and concepts and work persuasively with high-level prospective corporate donors, young adults and families, Federation staff, community volunteers • Ability to "package" the organization's needs into proposals that are attractive to corporate donors • Excellent organizational, planning, and writing skills • Highly motivated and creative • Proficient abilities in MS Office, database management, and internet research Preferences: Experience in marketing, project management, and sales • Knowledge of the Greensboro donor, business, and general community a plus • Familiarity with the programs and services of the Greensboro Jewish Federation and its constituent agencies Organizational Background: The Greensboro Jewish Federation (GJF), a multifaceted nonprofit organization that promotes the welfare of Jewish people in Greensboro, Israel, and worldwide.
