Product Description: ADDITIVE FOR CONCRETE (MULTIFUNCTIONAL WATERPROOFING
MODIFIER)

3.COMPOSITION/INFORMATION ON INGREDIENTS
This product “HYDROEFFECT” contains no hazardous materials:
1. Appearance - Slightly turbid, yellowish clear liquid.
2. Standard chemical composition (mass %):
i) Silicones
- not less than 43.3%;
ii) Mineral nanopaticles
- not less than 1,5%;
iii) Solvent (water)
- not less than 55.2%;
iv) Quantity of third-party mechanical impurities - absent.
v) Sulfate, Chlorides, Iron
- negligible traces.
3. pH value - 9 ÷ 10.
4. Density (at normal conditions) (g/cm3) - not more than 1,353.
5. Explosive substances - Absent.
6. Odour: mild characteristic odour.
7. Inflammable matters - Absent.
8. Poisonous materials - Absent.
9. Compatibility with other building materials - compatible.
10. Irritability on skin - None.
4.METHOD OF APPLICATION: The required amount of Additive for concrete is breed in water
and gradually (in parts) add this solution (with constant stirring) to the cement mixture (i.e.
cement with the required quantity of sand or sand/gravel).
5.HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
No Potential Health Effects:
INHALATION:
No inhalation hazards even if aqueous solution is heated to produce vapours. Vapours or
finely misted materials do not irritate the mucous membranes and do not cause dizziness or
nausea. Remove to fresh air.
EYE CONTACT:
May cause minor irritation. Irrigate eye with 0.5-1.0 litre of clean fresh water for about 2
minutes. Medical attention may not be required.
SKIN CONTACT:
Prolonged or repeated contact is does not cause skin irritation. There is no evidence of
thermal burns.
INGESTION:
Product is non-toxic, but not recommended for ingestion. If incidental ingestion of the

product, no cause for alarm. Drink fresh water 2-3 glasses. Seek for medical attention.
6.FIRST AID MEASURES
All personnel working with Hydroeffect are given special instructions on the use and safety
handling of the product.
EYES:
Irrigate eye with 0.5-1.0 litres of clean fresh water for about 2-3 minutes.
SKIN:
Rinse exposed areas of the body with fresh water and soap. Extra cautionary measures not
necessary.
INHALATION:
No health hazards at work. The room where product is stored should be ventilated. Although
no danger to health, personnel should avoid excessive inhalation of vapours. No evidence
of medical symptoms but medical attention may be required if symptoms persist.
INGESTION:
Drink two to three glasses of water. If gastro-intestinal symptoms develop, consult medical
personnel.
7.FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
Flammability Limits: not inflammable
EXTINGUISHING MEDIA:
Dry chemical, foam, halon (may not be permissible in some countries), CO2, water spray
(fog). Water stream may splash the burning liquid and spread fire.
SPECIAL FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES:
Use water spray to cool drums exposed to fire.
UNUSUAL FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS:
Hydroeffect is not inflammable and cannot cause spontaneous combustion if even if stored
near combustibles and not handled properly.
8.ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES SPILL CLEAN-UP PROCEDURES
Stop leak if possible. Hydroeffect is very safe and environmentally friendly, leaves no toxic
residue to the soil. Observe safety procedures to avoid wastage of the product.
9.HANDLING AND STORAGE
Store in closed containers in usual warehouse storage conditions at environmental
(ambient) temperatures.
10.EXPOSURE CONTROL /PERSONAL PROTECTION
RESPIRATORY PROTECTION:
If vapours or mists are generated, wear a NIOSH approved organic vapour/mist respirator.
PROTECTIVE CLOTHING:
Safety glasses, goggles, or face shield recommended to protect eyes from mists or
splashing. PVC coated gloves may be used as protective measure, although no evidence of
skin ailment.
OTHER PROTECTIVE MEASURES:
Employees must practice good personal hygiene, washing exposed areas of skin.
11. PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL PROPERTIES
COMPOSITION:
Hydroeffect is aqueous solutions of carefully selected environmentally safe chemical
products.
12. STABILITY AND REACTIVITY
STABILITY DATA – Stable at ambient environmental temperatures and storage conditions.

INCOMPATIBLE MATERIALS AND CONDITIONS TO AVOID:
There are no restrictions.
13. DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS
WASTE DISPOSAL:
Hydroeffect does not require disposal or utilization as product is stable and valid for usage
for several years.
In case of necessity or by demand, product may be disposed of by a licensed waste disposal
company. Contaminated absorbent material may be disposed of in an approved landfill.
Local, state and federal waste disposal regulations must be observed.
14. TRANSPORT INFORMATION
No specific transportation requirements. Usual transport by air, road and sea transport.
15. REGULATORY INFORMATION:
Hydroeffect is non-toxic and not hazardous product under the classification criteria of safety
chemical products of Ukraine. This product contains no chemicals known to cause cancer.
1. Appearance of the product: Determination the appearance is carried out in accordance
with the Ukrainian document GOST 20841.1 (item 2).
2. Content of mechanical impurities: Determination of content of mechanical impurities is
carried out in accordance with the Ukrainian document GOST 20841.1.
3. Density. Determination of density is carried out in accordance with the Ukrainian
document GOST 18995.1.
4. pH of the medium: Determination of pH is carried out in accordance with the Ukrainian
document GOST 20841.4.
5. Ability of hydrophobic: Determination of ability of hydrophobic is carried out in
accordance with the Ukrainian document GOST 10834.
6. Mass portion of volatile matter: Determination of mass portion of volatile matter is carried
out in accordance with the Ukrainian document GOST 17537.
7. Mass portion of water: Determination of mass portion of water is carried out in accordance
with the Ukrainian document GOST 17537.
Remarks: The process of determination of these parameters is standard. It
can be carried out in accordance with standard methods of any chemical
laboratory.
