Programme of Events Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd February: The Friars will preach at the Masses introducing the themes and hopes of the Mission. Monday 23rd to Thursday 26th February: Each morning of the Mission, after the 9.30am Mass at St Joseph’s Church (Somerset Road), one of the Friars will give a conference on the theme of the day. Each evening at 7.30pm in English Martyrs’ Church (Teddington Avenue), the Friars and Sisters will lead Adoration, Worship, Devotions, give talks and testimonies. The Parish of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in Huddersfield Monday 23rd February Theme “God so loved the world He sent his only Son” John 3:16 the evening will focus on the sublime reality of God’s love and the offer of reconciliation. The evening will include a testimony from one of the Friars. Tuesday 24th February at 7.30pm: Theme “Yes Lord, You know that I love You” John 21:1-19 the evening will focus on God’s loving initiative which asks us to respond, the reality of grace and its wondrous effects. The evening will include a service of reconciliation with the opportunity for individual confessions. Wednesday 25th February at 7.30pm Theme “I am the bread come down from Heaven” John 6:22-51 the evening will focus on the Eucharist as the source and summit of Christian life and will include a Eucharistic healing service and benediction. Thursday 26th February at 7.30pm Theme “Empowered by the Holy Spirit”-Mass of the Holy Spirit.
