Leader: Lift up your eyes and look. There is no partiality in
Christ. How might we let all people in on this mystery?
(pause)
Let us confess our unwillingness to share Christ with those of
other nations, tribes, races, families, social classes, and
denominations. (pause) The Advent wreath reminds us that
our light has come.
People: In this light, we celebrate forgiveness: the glory of
the Lord has risen upon us!






Women’s Sewing will meet on Wednesday this week, any
time after 9.00 am.
Elders meeting Wednesday, January 8, at 5:00 pm.
Finance Committee Meeting will meet on Tuesday, January
7, at 6:30 pm.
Annual Business Meeting will be January 12.
Book study on “The Journey Towards Reconciliation”
begins January 15.
Brad Schlegel will be the guest speaker on January 19.
Ben and Sarah Schlegel will be special speakers on
February 22-23.

The first session of the Winter Book Study will be based on
an article titled “Resilient Churches.” If you would like a
paper copy, there are paper copies by the mailboxes.
Otherwise, Pastor Matt will send out an online link to the
article this week.
