Are you able to take advantage of a once in a lifetime opportunity to dramatically change the lives of our young people and indeed transform the communities in which they live? If so, please read on. All Saints opened in September 2009 following the closure of the Predecessor School (PS) due to low standards. Prior to opening the 5A*-C EM and 5A*-C figures were 23% and 29% respectively. Following year on year improvements these headline figures rose to 44% and 83% respectively in 2012. For August 2013 we are predicting 43% and 84%. Whilst we are pleased with this improvement in results we know that there is a long way to go before we would consider that we have been successful. All Saints is a calm and happy school; we like to laugh with each other and to laugh at ourselves. We try not to take ourselves too seriously but know that preparing young people for the adult world is an important undertaking. Since opening, attitudes, aspirations and expectations have been transformed. We believe that our circumstances are quite unique and, therefore, that we can make a massive difference to the students we serve. Currently, we are a 13-18 Upper School of some 560 students. In September 2013 we shall become an 11-18 Secondary School and receive our first cohort of Year 7 students. Preparations for an interesting Year 7 curriculum experience are well underway. In addition to the new Year 7 students, as well as a growing Sixth Form, All Saints Academy is becoming increasingly popular. In September 2013 we expect our student population to increase to 720.
