Objective To show the fiber optic based electric field sensing using Nano material exhibits as Electro-Optic property Abstract In recent years photonic industry continues to evolve at rapid pace, the focus of the industry research has been shifted from metros to home networks. Education in optical systems requires knowledge of several disciplines including signal analysis, optics, and electronics. Single crystals of lithium niobate (LiNbO3), possessing high birefringence and anisotropic properties have been explored, for a long time, to harness their excellent electro-optic properties. However, their nanoforms are comparatively less explored. In this context, dielectric constant and polarization (P) versus electric-field (E) characteristics of LiNbO3 nanomaterials have been studied. A nonideal P-E loop and a dielectric constant of 20 at the onset of 1 kHz were seen. The electro-optic sensitivity was found to be 4 times as compared to the bulk LiNbO3 crystals. The results are attributed to oxygen vacancies, antisite defects, and grain boundary effects in an already congruent structural matrix of LiNbO3 Refrence 1) Sangeeta Kale 2) Amar Ghar Prof & HOD DIAT, Pune Email : sangeetakale2004@gmail.com Phd Research Scholar IIT Kanpur amarlaser@gmail.com Course Work In photonics I stuided 1) Modern Optics 4) Photonics materials 7) Optoelectronics and optical communications 2) Laser technology 5) Photonic devices and sensors 8) Fiber optics and applications 3) Photonics materials 6) Laser system and applications 9) Optical and digital signal processing 10) Industrial Photonic Engineering 11) Project work related to photonics Computer Fundamentals Operating System : Windows-XP, Windows 98, 2000, Passed MS-CIT with 66 marks.
