Welcome to Muscle Mania

Before you begin your workout you must complete the following exercises to determine your muscle dexterity: Muscle Action & Muscle Recognition

Facial Fitness: Choose ONE Activity

 Draw 8 facial pictures & identify the facial muscle used in each

Find 8 facial picture & identify the facial muscle used in each

 Take 8 ‘selfies’ & identify the facial muscle used in each

Upper BodY Fitness: Choose ONE Activity

Create an exercise program that utilizes 6 Arm & 4 Chest/Abdomen muscles & explain how the exercise effects the muscle

 Show a picture of an athlete in a sport & explain the arm, chest or abdominal muscles used in that picture. Two muscles must be specified in each picture & explain their action. 5 Pictures of various athletes. The sport may repeat but the muscle may NOT

Create a video of you doing individual muscle exercises 6 for the Arm & 4 for the

Chest/Abdominal & explain their action while conducting the exercise.

LOwer Body Fitness: Choose ONE Activity (May NOT repeat with Above)

Create an exercise program that utilizes 7 Leg & 3 Back muscles & explain how the exercise effects the muscle

 Show a picture of an athlete in a sport & explain the arm, chest or abdominal muscles used in that picture. Two muscles must be specified in each picture & explain their action. 5 Pictures of various athletes. The sport may repeat but the muscle may NOT

Create a video of you doing individual muscle exercises 6 for the 7 Leg & 3 for the Back

& explain their action while conducting the exercise.

Recovery: Choose ONE Activity

 Design a 30 minute workout program for an out of shape high school student. Your program needs to involve all major muscle groups: arms, legs, abdomen, back & chest.

Design a ‘rejuvenating’ program for your grandmother to give her a more healthy glow – include facial exercises as well as some arm & leg exercises

 Design an exercise prorgma to take an athlete to the next level of their training- how to increase the intensity in major muscle grousp: arms, legs, abdomen, back & chest
