The Powell Post PreCalculus Edition Grading Policy Welcome to the new school year. I am excited to have you in my class. This is the most important class you will ever take! I will treat it that way and hope that you will do the same. Please read the information in this syllabus. Keep this sheet in the front of your notebook for the course. Grades are accrued on a point system. Homework/Classwork (5pts) – Homework will be given every day. In order to stay on pace with the class, you must attempt every problem. You will receive credit for your completed assignments. Quizzes(20pts) – Quizzes will be given often between tests as we cover new material. Some will be scheduled and some will be unannounced, so always be prepared! Tests(100pts) – Tests will be comprehensive and cover sections and chapters. Partial credit is given whenever possible.
