JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE Associate Director, Advisory Services - referred to as “Consultant” below The “Consultant” will work closely with Lewtan’s Issuer clients in consultative engagements to facilitate the deployment of the ABS System platform to support their securitization programs. The “Consultant” will be responsible for leading a project team during the implementation life cycle, consulting with clients, performing discovery and translating the client’s business requirements into a specification that can be delivered on the ABS platform. The Role / Responsibilities: • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • Possess a strong understanding of System Implementation Life Cycle (SILC) and deliverables associated with each process, pertaining to the inputs and outputs. Define and refine the scope of deliverables for each engagement, ensuring that information necessary to deliver a complete solution is gathered Drive and provide guidance, both internally and externally, during the Plan & Design Phase of the implementation with a focus on obtaining, solidifying and documenting business requirements. Share insight with clients as it pertains to industry best practices in securitization Maintain awareness of the regulatory landscape and the resulting opportunities for Lewtan to provide Value Added Services to Issuer clients As Project Lead, make certain all aspects of the process (SILC) are being followed throughout all Phase of the implementation. Provide input into the development of the implementation project plan, with a particular focus on the tasks associated with Plan and Design Phase but also as a comprehensive plan to ensure all phases and tasks are consistent with the Implementation Process and reflect reasonable effort / duration. Provide overview of project to project team, set appropriate level of expectations for each task, including clear direction, effort and duration. Provide oversight in the development of functional specifications, configuration workbooks, system test plans, build validation plans, and all other relevant documentation associated with an implementation project. Provide oversight in the system level configuration and development of reports using report writing tools and Excel. Provide oversight in the execution of System and Integration Testing as outlined in the system test plan and in accordance with the BRD and Functional Specifications. Provide oversight in the deployment readiness process through the execution of build validation and validation of the processing scripts and other release documentation for accuracy and completeness. Provide oversight to the Analyst assigned as primary liaison throughout the client’s User Acceptance Test period to ensure proper tracking, triaging and validation of issues raised during UAT is occurring. Leas the transition of an accepted project to ABS Support or Service Bureau through education / training, documentation and post-implementation support. Interact with all project stakeholders (internally as well as externally), business partners and thirdparty vendors in a professional manner. All deliverables and tasks should be of high quality and within the time and budget parameters – know what these expectations are and as project lead ensure that team also is clear on expectation and timelines. Escalate issues appropriately and in a timely manner to ensure management of customer expectations and issue resolution. Demonstrate sound project management fundamentals managing each project to the contract and owning all milestone deliverables. Shared Accountability • Stay within budget and associated Company Wide SLAs • Improve Operational efficiencies • Ensure all implementation / development projects and IT standards (BCP, DR, IS) adhere to Lewtan’s Business Simplification Strategy • Promote company culture • Participate in project plan / schedule planning for the implementation • Support pre-Sales activities including but not limited to, participation with RFP, product • • demonstrations, proposals (including estimates and assumptions) Ensure timely and smooth transition from Sales to PS. Ensure Customer Satisfaction Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field required. Subject Matter Expert in Structure Finance. Experience Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a Professional Services environment. Working knowledge of RDBMS (Relational Database Management Systems). Strong track record of successful and timely delivery of technical projects preferably in a fast paced consultancy environment. Experience in planning complex multidisciplinary projects in a global and multicultural organization. Extensive project management experience, ideally within a financial institution or Structured Finance domain. Understanding of technical concepts, development techniques, operating systems and database subsystems such as SQL Server. Proven problem solving skills in a technical environment. Clear written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate complex business and technical concepts to a senior audience. The ability to actively oversee and manage all project resources and negotiate with client-side staff. A strong client focused orientation with the drive and enthusiasm required to achieve results and assume customer satisfaction.
