He has very good tops to culls results in the New England CTSE with his combined visual classing and actual figures his progeny were outstanding. N958 progeny topped the Hazeldean sale this year. N13 (110013) Born: 2008 Sire: N318 x N4636 Dam: ET Special Ewe 1059 Bred in the purple this ram is by our 2011 Supreme Exhibit from Sydney out of one of Nerstane’s best ET ewes. Nerstane was part of a large syndicate that bought this sire and we retained a semen share. First progeny are showing good gutsy wools on large frames and good structure. Tara Park 1037 (TP 1037) Born: 2010 Sire: TP4202 Dam: This sire was chosen for his structure and doing ability, while also being the biggest cutting son of Tara Park’s famous sire TP4202 that year. Desmond won Riverina Ram of the year and then won the huge dual purpose class at Bendigo in 2013 and then sold privately to NZ for $35000. A half brother to Desmond broke the hogget ram sale record last year selling for $81000 to a WA syndicate while another two sons made $20000 and $18000 at Willandra’s on property sale. Nerstane has had a great hit so far from this sire with progeny being generally polled, showing great bone, and with good crimpy white wools. We have bought more semen and used him again this year.
