FCHI Undergraduate Humanities SIRE Fellowship 2015 – 2016
The Bill and Carol Fox Center for Humanistic Inquiry
Emory University
The Fox Center for Humanistic Inquiry, along with Emory College of Arts and Sciences’ SIRE Program, will offer up to
four undergraduate Fellowships to support work on completing SIRE projects for the fall semester. The purpose of
these Fellowships is to provide undergraduates with shared office space and the opportunity to participate in a
vibrant humanities research community of Emory faculty, graduate students, and visiting scholars. In addition to
working on SIRE projects, FCHI Humanities SIRE Fellows will be expected to participate in the intellectual life of the
Center and its programs, as well as contribute to the FCHI undergraduate research blog. The FCHI Humanities SIRE
Fellows Program is designed both for students of humanities departments and programs as well as students working
with humanistic issues in the social and natural sciences. Students must be part of the SIRE Program of Emory
College, and their projects must be humanistic, but students may be enrolled in any program.
