TENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
Collect
[O] God, all good things come from you.
In our need let us call on {tap} you,
and as we discern what is right,
guide us to do the right thing.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,

let your healing
free us from doing evil

ELEVENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
Opening prayer
[O] God,
to those [who] hope in you, you give them strength,
graciously listen to our prayers,
without you we are weak, we can do nothing;
grant {give} us the help of your grace,
and [in] following your commands,
through our resolve {determination} and deeds {actions},
we will please you.

your Son humbled himself and raised up a failed world.
Save your faithful people from sin,
fill your faithful with holy joy,
and give them eternal gladness.

to those lost you show the light of your truth
so that they will come back to the right way.
Give all faithful Christians the grace
to reject all false teachings against the name of Christ
as they try to live and honour his name.

show favour to us your servants,
mercifully increase the gifts of your grace.
Let us become strong in hope, faith and charity
so that we will always be ready to obey your commands.

Almighty ever-living God,
taught by the Holy Spirit,
