What is the Directory?
The Directory of Services is a database of people, companies and
organisations across Victoria with staff who have an awareness and
understanding of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). It is kept at the office of
Autism Victoria and anyone can ring to obtain details of the products or
services they are looking for.
The Directory is a great source of information for families and professionals
who require services or assistance from organisations, groups and individuals.

It contains details on a wide range of professionals catering to people
with an ASD

It contains listings for general services where staff are supportive of
people with an ASD

Thousands of families and professionals call each year to ask for help to
find relevant services – those listed on the Directory are supplied
When a family member has a particularly good experience with a service
provider, they often call to let us know and with the permission of the
provider, we add them to the database.
Who can be listed?
The Directory of Services is available to all businesses and organisations in
Victoria, ranging from hairdressers to therapists, medical professionals to
disability service providers.
All we ask is that you have awareness of Autism Spectrum Disorders and are
able to provide understanding and appropriate service to those people with
an ASD, and to their families, and you provide details of someone to act as
your referee.
What should I do to be listed?
To have yourself, your business or your organisation added to the Directory of
Services, all you need to do is to provide Autism Victoria with the relevant
details by filling in the Application Form on the reverse.
