Introducing Luxe Plank® & Luxe Tile™ with New FasTak Installation: Visually Stunning, Water
Resistant & Incredibly Durable
LANCASTER, PA. – Armstrong Flooring’s popular Luxe Plank® flooring is undergoing an evolution. The exceptional
collection of luxury vinyl flooring is now being offered for the first time in both planks and tiles with striking designs that
perfectly replicate the exquisite color, texture and fine detail found in authentic hardwood and natural stone.
The new Luxe flooring also features brand new FasTak Installation, which, according to Armstrong, is the quickest and
easiest installation available. Simply position the plank or tile and press into place: no glue, no pads, no special tools and
no drying time – the floor can be walked on immediately. Luxe Plank or Luxe Tile installs smoothly over most existing
subfloors, including those with imperfections (even wood floors). The innovative nylon-infused pressure sensitive
adhesive allows Luxe to be easily repositioned during installation and then tightly grips/bonds to the subfloor. Repairs
are simple: Individual planks/tiles can be quickly replaced without affecting the rest of the floor or damaging the
subfloor.
These sturdy fiberglass reinforced planks and tiles are ideal for high-moisture areas (kitchens, baths and basements) and
are highly resistant to rips, tears and gouges. Topped with a rugged urethane wear layer, Luxe Plank and Tile will resist
scratches, scuffs and stains to guarantee floors will look newer longer even in light commercial settings.
New Designs in Luxe Plank® & New Tile Formats
Selection includes on-trend 12”x24” sizes and hand-sculpted wood visuals. Ten new authentic wood designs are being
introduced in Luxe Plank in a range of colors, with distinct graining that is coupled with undulating textures to create a
discriminating collection that mimics the beauty of real wood. New Luxe Tile brings the beauty of nature indoors with a
gorgeous color variation, unique clefts and fluid movement characteristic of real stone. Six new stone tile designs are
being introduced – three in 12”x24” and three designs in 18”x18”.
What Is FasTak™ Installation?
No Glue, No Pads, No Special Tools Needed. Durable fiberglass re-enforced planks/tiles provide dimensional stability to
resist gapping and installs smoothly over most existing subfloors, including those with imperfections – even
temperamental wood subfloors.
Planks/Tiles can be installed almost anywhere in the home and on all grade levels as long as the subfloor is structurally
sound, clean, dry and flat. Planks/Tiles can be installed over existing wood, concrete, ceramic, tile and vinyl sheet floors.
The existing surface should be thoroughly cleaned, swept or vacuumed to ensure full contact to the subfloor. An
embossing leveler is required for existing resilient floors that are heavily embossed (particularly older products with
deep embossing). The floors also can be installed over OSB, as long as the OSB is fully sanded, so that the planks/tiles
