Our meeting usually finishes around 12 noon.
After the meeting we share refreshments together. Please come and
join us and get to know us a bit better.
CHILDREN’S WORK DURING THE MEETING
The children are usually with us for the first 20-30 minutes of our
time together,
then there are two classes that they go out to be taught and looked
after up to school year 8.
Although most of our church members give by standing order, we do take
up a monthly offering, usually on the first Sunday of the month, for the
benefit of those who give by cash or cheque.

Daytime house group – this will be at 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. this week at
Graham and Jenny’s
We also hold baptism classes, joining the church courses and Alpha
courses from time to time. If you would like to take part in any of these
events, please speak to Alwyn.
There will be a baptismal Service on1st April at 6:30pm at
Wilmington Christian Fellowship. Please see Alwyn, Giles or Dave if
you want to or are considering being baptised.

PRAYER INFO/REQUESTS
Please keep Alwyn in your prayers as he works within the community and
the school. Thank God for his teaching.
Please keep Ray Lowe in your prayers is travelling in South Africa away
for three months, ministering to local churches. There is an updated
newsletter on the Welcome Desk.
FORTHCOMING EVENTS
We are hoping to host a Quiz Evening at Horizon School as an
initiative to support the school, but also for us to have a good evening
out - look out for more info.
Defending faith, family and freedom – A seminar at Hope Church,
Orpington by the Christian Institute, 21st March, 8 – 9.30 p.m. covering
topics such as Homosexual Marriage, Freedom of Speech and Religious
Liberty.
Men’s Trip Out –There is still space for you to sign up for this trip. The
date has been confirmed as 24th March, 12 p.m. for the trip to
Shepherd Neame Brewery at Faversham. Because of the number of
people going, we have been offered a private tour with a tutored
tasting at the end. Meet outside Horizon School at 10.30 a.m.
EASTER TIMETABLE
Thursday 5th April at Alwyn and Helen’s 7.45 for 8 p.m. start – showing
of ‘The Passion’ 2 hours, 18 plus cert.
Friday 6th April – 9 a.m. Church Breakfast at Alwyn and Helen’s –
everyone welcome
Sunday 8th April – Easter Day service 10.30; 6.30.p.m. Churches
Together Easter Praise at St. Paul’s, Swanley Village.
There will be leaflet drop for the Easter Day service around Horizon
School on Thursday 29th March at 2 p.m. – all help welcome.
First Aid course – Saturday 28th April, 9.30 – 1.30 p.m. at St Peter’s,
Hextable. There is a sign-up sheet on the Welcome Desk.
Church Family Meeting – 2nd May at 102 Swanley Lane, 8 p.m.
Community Festival Day – This is the alternative to Party in the Park
and will take place on Sunday 27th May. The event is being organized
jointly by the Town Council and Churches Together. Watch this space.
