CLASS 6 - School’s 1.10m Class
Open to teams and individuals aged between 11 and 19 years old (the years in which the
rider turns 11 and 19).

Please note all classes are run under British Showjumping Club Rules. All horse/rider
combinations can compete in up to two consecutive British Showjumping Schools classes
per show day excluding clear rounds. Riders may only compete once in a team, so may not
ride two horses in the same team.
Format
Teams will compete in blocks (i.e. all riders from a team will compete one after each other.
Once a whole team has done their round the next team will jump.) Teams will be in drawn
order. Any teams and individuals entering after the close of entries will jump first.
Points/Scores
• The team will have the best 3 scores to count.
• Points can only be collected from school classes which will contribute to the leagues.
• Points allocated the same as club classes (please see below)
• 12 Teams and 22 individuals in total to qualify; 10 teams and 8 individuals to qualify from
the leagues per height category. The top team and 3 individuals at each direct qualifier (4)
will also qualify. (The qualifications will pass down the line on the leagues with regard to
teams and individuals that have already qualified directly)
For School classes the first round or first phase of the competitions, time faults will not be
allocated instead there will be a time limit of 2 minutes, competitors who exceed this will
incur elimination.
In these classes points will be allocated as follows:
1st – 12 points, 2nd- 10 points, 3rd – 8 points, 4th – 6 points, 5th – 4 points, 6th – 3 points. 3
points will be allocated to all those who achieve double clear; those who are placed will
receive an additional 3 points if they have had a double clear.
These classes will run at 70cm, 80cm, 90cm, 1.00m and 1.10m.
Heights in “Jump –Off”/ Second phases can be a maximum of 5cm higher than the first
round.
Faults
Knock down – 4 faults
First refusal – 4 faults
Second refusal (anywhere on the course) – 4 faults
Third refusal (anywhere on the course) – Elimination
Fall (anywhere on the course) – Elimination
All other faults as per British Showjumping rule book.
Qualifying Process
Leagues;
One national league for teams and individuals per height category
Top 8 teams and 10 individuals on each league to qualify. Individuals can qualify in both the
league and the teams.
Direct Qualifier;
Four direct qualifiers to be held in the North and South with the top team and top 3
individuals in each height category to qualify. These regional direct qualifiers will be
tendered for.
The qualifications will pass down the line on the leagues with regard to teams and
individuals that have already qualified directly.
Points only to be gained at the British Showjumping Schools competitions.

SHOW RULES
Anvil Park Stud has taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these
measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid & prevent accidents occurring & must
obey the instructions of the owners/agents whether written or verbal. Anvil Park Stud shall not be liable for any claim in
respect of damage, loss, injury or accident to any person, horse or property howsoever caused. It shall be deemed a
condition of entry that each entrant has read and understood these terms and conditions and shall indemnify Anvil Park
Stud or any person acting on their behalf against any legal action arising from such an incident. No rider under the age of 4
years old permitted.
All entries are on the day & payable at time of booking. All prize money won to be collected from the secretary. No refunds
will be given once classes are entered. BS Rule 76.6 may be applied. All classes to be judged in accordance with BS rules.
Judges decision is final. Hard hats to current BS EN 1384, PAS 015 or ASTM F1163 must be worn & correctly secured whilst
mounted. It is recommended that back protectors are worn whilst mounted. All stallions must be kept under control at all
times & not handled by anyone under 14 years. All stallions must have red/white/blue ribbon in tail.
Lorries must not be mucked out onto car park. Please place muck, hay etc into area provided. No Horses or hay nets to be
tied up to lorry / trailer or leave the show ground area. No bicycles or motorcycles, except disabled scooters, anywhere on
site. NO DOGS are allowed on the show ground.
No ball games permitted at any time. No fires or barbeques at any time on the premises. No smoking permitted inside
stables, buildings or arena premises.
All children under the age of 16 years must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. All rubbish/litter to be removed
from site or placed in bins provided. Any person who fails to comply with these terms & conditions will be liable to forfeit
their fees & expulsion from site. In the event of any rider travelling to a show on their own, details of a contact should be
left with the secretary in case of an accident.
