COUGARS! Are you ready for Homecoming??? If you want to run for Homecoming
Court and are going to make posters, bring them to ASB and get them approved.
Sept 9-11
Sports Update: The Cross Country team had their first dual meet yesterday
against Hesperia High School. Both Varsity teams -- boys and girls -- won
their races! A 'perfect score' in a cross country race is 15 points. BOTH
boys and girls won with a score of 17 points!!!!! Abby Toarmina led the
girls and Nathaniel Wong led the boys, each taking 1st place.

Would you like to learn more about what the Marine Corps can offer you? Sign up
in the Career Center. Also a representative from California Baptist University will

Attention All club presidents and advisors: The Fall Festival is on Thursday Oct. 1.
All Clubs must submit what they would like to sell to Mrs. Hall and submit the
proper paper work to ASB. Let’s make this Fall Festival the best one ever!

Come join HOSA on Friday in Room D505 from 2:00 – 2:30 and become part of the
team.
Voting Polls are open for the Homecoming Court and Senior Class
Choices. To vote go to granitehills.votingforschools.com which will
be open until Sept. 26
The next meet for the Cougars’ runners is on Saturday, as they host the '3rd Annual High
Desert Cross Country Challenge!' Come cheer them on, at Horseman's Center Park, as
they host 12 schools from the high desert and compete for the top trophies! RUN,
COUGARS, RUN!!!!!!!
