The Loughlin Games are the oldest and largest High School Indoor meet in the country.
This meet is sanctioned by the National Federation, PSAL and CHSAA
2. DATE – SATURDAY, DECEMBER 20, 2014
a) NO BUSES WILL BE ALLOWED TO STAY ON ANY STREET BY THE ARMORY.
DROP YOUR TEAM OFF AND PARK ON RIVERSIDE DRIVE. SPACE IS AVAILABLE FOR BUSES.
b) PLEASE KEEP YOUR AREA CLEAN IN THE ARMORY. LEAVE ALL VALUABLES HOME.
3. 15 Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys events will be contested and a Sprint Medley Relay for Froshman and Sophomore Girls and Boys. (800, 200,200,
400). GIRLS WILL BE CONTESTED FIRST FOLLOWED IMMEDIATLEY BY THE BOYS.
4. PARTICIPATION RULES:
a) An athlete may compete in any 3 events.
b) Individual events: Each school is permitted 3 competitors in every varsity individual event.
c) Relays: 3 teams per school in all Varsity Relays. Unlimited entry in the Freshman and Sophomore Sprint Medley Relays.
5. 2014 NOTES
a) 8 FASTEST in the 300M Dash and the 800M relays will return to the Finals. There will be a TWO HEAT FINAL. Lanes 3 to 6 will be used.
b) STARTING BLOCKS ALLOWED ONLY in the FINALS of the 55M DASH, 55M HURDLES, 300M DASH, and the 800M RELAYS.
c) VARSITY GIRLS AND BOYS 55M DASH AND 55M HURDLES WILL RUN A SEMIS AND FINAL ONLY. THE 8 FATEST TIMES
WILL COME BACK FOR THE FINAL.
d) NO SPIKES ALLOWED IN VARISTY SHOT PUT

Shot Put, Long Jump, and Triple Jump: All 1st jumps and throws will be measured. The next attempts, only those over the
opening distance will be measured.
7. SEEDING: Please record an established time for athletes competing in individuals running events that you wish to have considered for seeding.
You must enter these times when registering athlete on Direct Athletics.
a) VARSITY GIRLS AND VARSITY BOYS 2 MILE RUN: Only 1 SECTION WILL BE RUN. Approximately 20 boys and 20 girls will be
selected to compete in this event. Please include 3200 M / 2 Mile times, Cross Country times, and Places.
b) All seeds will be selected by the committee at the seeding meeting on MONDAY, DECEMBER 15th. The decision of the Games Committee is
final.
8. PRIZES:
a) Individual medals to top 6 places in all individual events. Trophy/plaque and watch will be awarded to all Varsity Individual Champions.
b) Teams: Team trophies for the 1st, 2nd place, and 3rd place in the boys and girls Varsity division.
c) Relays: Medals to the top 6 teams and a plaque to champion school team per Varsity Relay..
d) Special Awards: Outstanding performance award as voted by the games committee to the top Varsity male and female athlete Both Track and
Field.
9. SCORING: VARSITY EVENTS ONLY .6 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1
10. RULES:
a)
National Federation rules in order except when modified.
b)
No False Starts.
c)
Freshman cannot enter or run a Sophomore event.
d)
Schools must supply own relay sticks.
e)
Shot Put, Long Jump, and Triple Jump: All 1st jumps and throws will be measured. After that, only those over a
certain distance will be measured. (Shot Put= throws over 40 Ft. for Boys and 26 Ft. for Girls will be measured;
Long Jump = 17 Ft. for Boys and 14 Ft. 6 In. for Girls; Triple Jump = 37 Ft. for Boys and 28 Ft. for Girls)
11. SUGGESTION: Unfortunately theft of coats, bags, etc., has increasingly become a problem. Please be advised.
12. Submit your Direct Athletics entry with your fee, along the Athletics Director’s Signature. All entries must be received by Thursday December
11th, 2014. NO FAXES.
13. ENTRY FEES:
a)
$8.50 per individual event.
b)
$28.00 per relay.
c)
$28. 00 minimum fee per school.
d)
This is an entry fee, not a Participation fee.
14. Fees and a HARD COPY of the Direct Athletics entry must be received by Thursday December 11th, 2014.
