If you have any important dates/events you would like the FSL community to know about contact me to get it on @mostateFSL Chief Justice (Marc Rafael – Rafael0013 @live.missouristate.edu): - No report Associate Chief Justice (Vishal Patel – Patel004@live.missouristate.edu): - No report FSL Advisor (Andrea Weber – Weber@missouristate.edu) - Strongly encourage looking into IFC positions Graduate Assistant (Liv Parks - olivia1226@live.missouristate.edu) Old Business: - Sigma Pi switches philanthropy dates from 25th to 29th of October (approved) - September 19, 2013 (Denied) – Colonies are still not allowed to vote Sigma Chi proposes to amend Article II Section D in the IFC Bylaws to allow colonies the privilege to an IFC vote after a full successful semester on campus and are in good standing with IFC by paying dues and obtaining the GPA requirement. With this amendment, colonies would have the privilege to vote on any issues regarding IFC after have completed a full semester of the colony process at Missouri State University, and have a better understanding and knowledge of the process of IFC on campus. A colony will not be able to vote if they are below the GPA requirement or have not paid dues. Below is the current Bylaw. ARTICLE II Expansion Policy D. IFC Colonization (Colony status) 1. Privileges: b. A recognized IFC Colony will be considered a non-voting member of the Interfraternity Council until it receives Full Membership status. An IFC Colony shall be granted all other privileges and responsibilities of membership. - - New Business: - Greek Week events, full list will be attached to the email - TKE wants to move philanthropy from last week to October 28th and 29th - Pi kappa phi would like to move philanthropy from October first, November 12th - Proposed bylaw changes, all fines issued by ifc be turned in within 14 business days.
