TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. The quotation must be accompanied with a call deposit of 2% of the quote price
(refundable) without which any quotation, will not be considered.
2. Rates quoted should be C&F/FOR University of Peshawar.
3. Security at the rate of 10% of the total bill will be deducted for a period of six months
after installation of equipments and will be released subject to receiving good report from
the concerned person.
4. Payment will be made only after the equipment(s) is fully installed and comes in working
condition.
5. The firm will give Five years extended guarantee and will be responsible for the repair,
maintenance and parts.
6. The equipment shall be supplied in packed form and opened in front of the purchase
committee. The working manual, circuit diagram and the related literate in original must
accompany the equipment.
7. The equipment(s) will be installed by the approved firm subject to the satisfaction of
convener of purchase committee. In case of any defect in the supplied equipment(s) or it
is not in accordance with the desired specification, the item will be changed at the cost of
supplier.
8. The firm must have a representative office in Peshawar/Islamabad/Rawalpindi, which can
be contacted in case of any problem encountered with the working of equipment(s).
9. The firm supplying the equipment(s) will demonstrate the operation/working of the
equipment(s) to the satisfaction of the quarter concerned and provide training if needed.
10. The firm will enter into contract with the University of Peshawar, regarding repairs and
maintenance of equipment(s) supplied and will be responsible for the arrangement of
spare parts, whenever needed.
11. The firm must attach the agency agreement of those instruments which they are quoting.
12. The firm will get preference if it has ISO9001 certification in services.
13. In case of local item sales tax and Income tax will be deducted from the supplier bills
GST will be refunded subject to provision of sales tax invoice.
14. The acceptance and rejection will be item wise.
15. The entire supply will have to be completed with 60 days of work/supply order.
16. In case the firm fails to supply in time or refuses to supply the equipment after getting
work order, a penalty at the rate of 25% of the cost of supply order will be charged from
the firm.
17. No advance payment will be made.
18. The equipment must be provided in full working condition and the Director will not
accept any excuse for any missing item needed for full working condition.
19. The quotations should reach through the sealed and registered post/courier service.
20. The firm must have experienced and certified Engineer, the name of qualification and
certificate should be attached.
21. Training should be provided on parts.
22. The firm must produce the certificate of authorized dealership distributor.
23. Analysis certificate for each chemical, where applicable must be submitted with supply.
