Career Spirit Week is coming this week. The students have an opportunity of dressing up each day (see the reminders above). The students were given a questionnaire to have a parent answer about careers. Please make time to answer these questions for your child. They will be turned in for a grade to Mrs. Carr, and presented in class. That way, everyone in the class will benefit from learning about many different careers. Our class is in need of a few things for the New Year. The students are in need of more Strive for Five prizes. The kids have really enjoyed the small individually wrapped candy, small toys, and jewelry that you all sent in August. We are also in need of more paper towels, wipes, and Windex. If you are able to send in any of these items to help out our classroom, we would all appreciate it! Here are some upcoming activities for our class: Math for Mrs. Paul’s class and Mrs. Carr’s class: Both classes will continue working on Unit 5, Measuring Polygons. We will focus on examining angles and classifying polygons, quadrilaterals and angles, and a sequence of squares. There will be a quiz on Unit 5 Investigation 1 on Tuesday, January 13th.
