ii. Discussed issues we wanted to pursue this year, including
working closer with UCSA
iii. Voted to support the UCSA SAGE Proposal, which passed.
6. Lunch with UCR Chancellor Wilcox
a. August 4, 2015 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Barn.
i. Had lunch with Chancellor Wilcox, Provost D’Anieri, and
Outgoing President Preston Williams to discuss UCR GSA
moving forward in the year.
7. Organizational Excellence Meeting with Vice Chancellor Sandoval and
Chancellor Wilcox
a. August 5, 2015 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM in Hinderaker Hall.
i. Met with Vice Chancellor Sandoval and Chancellor Wilcox,
along with ASUCR representatives, to discuss organizational
restructuring of services between Student Affairs and Business
and Administrative Services.
8. UCR Advisory Committee on Campus Art (ACCA) Meeting
a. August 13, 2015 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM in Hinderaker Hall.
i. Met with the committee to discuss campus public works
projects.

ii. Chancellor willing to invest up to 1 million USD in campus
project.
iii. Committee determined best practices for paying artists
submitting ideas for public works projects.
9. UC Student Association (UCSA) Congress and Board Meeting

i. Attended some workshops at the UCSA Annual Congress
meeting.

i. Attended the UCRAA Board Retreat and Board meeting.
ii. Brainstormed ways to reach existing and new alumni and
increase participation in the association.

24. AGSM AAO Interview

i. Conducted an interview for the AGSM AAO position.
25. School of Medicine Professional Degree Supplemental Tuition Meeting
a. September 30, 2015 from 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM at the School of
Medicine.
i. The School of Medicine wants to increase Professional Degree
Supplemental Tuition by 3% this year.
ii. Reasoning is inflation and general agreement among medical
schools in the UC system to increase Professional Degree
Supplemental Tuition by a small percentage each year.
iii. This is a low number given UCLA’s proposed increase of 5%
and UCSF’s proposed 15% increase, but it would be easier than
a sudden, larger increase in one year along the lines of UCLA or
UCSF if Professional Degree Supplemental Tuition stagnates at
0%.
iv. Students on Mission Scholarships will have this covered by their
scholarship.
26. Meeting with the President of Ghana
a. October 2, 2015 from 8:00 PM - 9:30 PM at the UCR Alumni and
Visitors Center.
i. Invited to meet the President of Ghana.
