PD’S Holiday Fun Club Trip Information
Trip: DurleighMarsh Farm Date: Tuesday 28th August Time: 9-3
PICK YOUR OWN FRUIT! We will be taking a ride on the minibus to DurleighMarsh Farm and
will be let loose on the beautiful orchard where we can fill our punnets full of fresh fruit, which
we will then take back to PD’s and enjoy making delicious smoothies and treats!
Trip: The Sustainability Centre Date: Thursday 30th August Time: 9-4
Get close to nature at The Sustainability Centre and experience some nature packed activities
including bug hunting, pond dipping and exploring the grounds. We shall be taking the mini bus
and spending the whole day at the centre, allowing time to explore the woods and facilities and
enjoy a picnic lunch on the grounds.
Trip: Milestones Living History Museum Date: Tuesday 4th August
Time: 9-4
Go back in time and join us on a trip to Milestones Museum! We shall be spending the day
discovering and exploring interactively how people used to live, including historic streets,
vintage vehicles and trains, old school sweet shop plus dress up like a Victorian! After exploring
we shall be enjoying a picnic lunch and taking a trip to the gift shop.
Trip: Hollycombe working Steam Museum Date: Thursday 6th August Time: 9-4
Join us in the beautiful surroundings of the Hollycombe working steam museum! Enjoy travelling
by old steam trains and road vehicles and discover the history of farming with steam!
Furthermore, take a ride on the traditional fairground rides including the big wheel, haunted
house and golden gallopers before enjoying a picnic lunch on the grounds of the museum. We
shall be ending the day with a visit to the gift shop!
Trip: Isle of Wight by Hovercraft
Date: Tuesday 11th August
Time: 9-4
Join us on a fun filled packed day on the beaches of the Isle of Wight! We will be travelling on
the mini bus over to Portsmouth, where we will be taking a trip on the Hovercraft to Ryde, Isle
of Wight! We shall be spending the day on the beach enjoying, sun, sea, sand, picnic and beach
sports!
Trip: BBQ at Queen Elizabeth Country Park Date: Thursday 13th August Time: 9-4
Enjoy a tasty BBQ and exciting games/activities on the grounds of Queen Elizabeth Country
Park! We will be travelling by mini bus and enjoying the open spaces in which your child can
explore and join in sports, games and activities. No pack lunch is needed as all food and drink will
be provided, however PLEASE LET THE STAFF KNOW OF ANY DIETARY REQUIREMENTS so
we can cater for your child.
For all trips your child will need a packed lunch and drink, spending money for ice cream or small
souvenir, sun cream/sun hat and suitable clothing/footwear (preferably wellies for The
Sustainability Centre trip). For the Isle of Wight trip please also provide swimwear/towel if
your child would like to go into the sea.
If you wish for your child to come to Puddleducks before 9am then they must be dropped
off at the nursery site in which a member of staff will collect them and take to the
holiday scheme. If you wish for your child to stay later than 3pm (4pm for trips) then
