Whereas, the students of the University of North Dakota are responsible for representing themselves at
all NDSA meetings, and
Whereas, the University of North Dakota receives up to 18 voting delegates at NDSA meetings, and
6
Whereas, a lack of obligatory attendance has resulted in few students attending past meetings, and
8
Whereas, during legislative sessions student input will be sought after and valuable for lobbying
initiatives, and
10
Whereas, having a stable delegation would be beneficial to ensuring goals and initiatives are being
continuously followed up on and pursued, and
12
Therefore, be it resolved that annually-serving voting delegates be selected to attend each of the NDSA
meetings up to the number of votes the University of North Dakota receives at NDSA for the given year,
and

Therefore, be it further resolved that students interested in these voting delegate positions submit their
name to Student Government and then be approved by Student Senate, and

Student Senate approval, and
18
Therefore, be it further resolved that any student wishing to attend NDSA can still attend and if all voting
delegate slots are filled, the student can still attend as a non-voting delegate per NDSA guidelines, and

Therefore, be it further resolved that it is the voting delegate’s responsibility to find a proxy, when possible,
to attend any meeting the delegate is not able to attend, and
