2013-2014 Eldred High School
NYS/Local Scholarships that require an application
Important: All applicants must make certain to adhere to stated filing deadlines. If an application requires documentation
from the guidance office (transcripts, recommendations, etc.), it should be submitted to the guidance office one week prior
to the filing deadline. The deadline dates below reflect when completed applications are to be submitted to guidance unless
it states the official deadline to the benefactor.
If you are applying to a 4 year college you should be at the end of sending your application and transcripts and
recommendations. Community colleges are still accepting applications unless you are looking at living on campus, and then
those applications need to be done sooner. Colleges should be making decisions now and you will probably hear back from
them by the end of this month, if you haven’t heard yet. While you are waiting, work on the scholarships that you are
eligible for, check out fastweb.com and scholarships.com
