School Counselor
(Long-Term Substitute Full-Time)
The Position
This is a long-term substitute position in the high school to serve as Guidance
Counselor. The person selected for this position will serve from approximately February 11 through
April 20, 2016. Salary and benefits for this position are stated in the teacher contract.
Qualifications
1.
Fully certified in New York State as a School Counselor.
2.
There will be a background check and fingerprinting (as required by law).
3.
Knowledge of high school curriculum and previous school experience a plus.
4.
Ability to work well with high school children a must.

Excellent health, work habits, and employment attendance history.
5.
Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
6.
Good college record and excellent references.
7.
Dedicated to teaching and to students.
