Dear Parents/Guardians,
The Burlington Township High School Counseling Office is pleased to announce that our annual
Financial Aid Night will be held Thursday, January 8, 2015, beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the High
School PAC. This program is especially pertinent for parents of seniors and juniors. Our
presenter will be Mr. John Iacovelli, Dean of Enrollment Management at the Richard Stockton
College of New Jersey. Mr. Iacovelli was previously the Senior Director of Client Services and
Marketing for the New Jersey Higher Education Student Assistance Authority (HESAA) and
possesses extensive knowledge about the college financial aid process.
Mr. Iacovelli’s presentation will explain need analysis, financial aid philosophy, and the various
state and federal financial aid programs available. Most importantly, Mr. Iacovelli will review the
steps involved in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and highlight
some of the changes made to the FAFSA. Mr. Iacovelli will be available to answer questions at the
end of his presentation.
Registration for the program will begin at 6:30 p.m. We recommend that you bring a copy of the
2015-2016 FAFSA worksheet with you. You should be able to obtain a copy of the worksheet after
January 1st by going to www.fafsa.ed.gov. You can also apply for a pin number before January 1st
on the FAFSA website
