Survival Island Your Story You’re trapped on a deserted island and you must survive. The good news is that it is a magical island and you can create any geographical landforms that you need. Your job is to add land forms to the island to help you get food and shelter and survive. Your Assignment Prep work 1) Think about all of the landforms that you have learned about. What do the different landforms offer to people living near them? What landforms would you need or want if you needed to survive without any more clothes than those on your back and without any of the comforts of your home or civilized community? a. Brain Storm at least 10 different landforms and the benefits they offer to people living near them. b. The 10 listed above place in order of importance to you on your island. 2) Using the graph paper create a rough sketch of what your island will look like. Create a key of your landforms using the squares to help with absolute location. a. Refer to the teacher example of how to label the graph paper to help with absolute location. b. Make the island as livable and comfortable as possible. 3) Create a project that represents your island (all materials used should be found around your house. a.
