Ladies Teams 2015 Match Results Mary McKenna Trophy: Hard luck to Castle who lost to Clontarf in the first round of the Mary McKenna Trophy on Friday 20th March. A good match with the home team having advantage on the day! Junior Foursomes: Great win to Castle in all 3 matches against Millicent, in Castle on Friday 27th March. A comfortable win in the return match in Millicent on 19th April sees Junior Foursomes through to the next round against Killeen. Challenge Cup (29-36): The Challenge Cup was played on Sunday 29th March, in very tough conditions, particularly in Dun Laoghaire with high winds and heavy rain. Dun Laoghaire won 2 home matches and one in Castle with Castle winning 2 home matches. All matches were very tight going to 17th or 18th! Mixed Foursomes: Castle won first round match against Beechpark. Castle were beaten by Edmondstown in the 2nd round, 3/2. Minor Cup: Congratulation to Minor Cup who won against Milltown on Sunday 26th April in Charlesland. Junior Cup: Well done to Castle who had a great win against Newlands in the first round of the Junior Cup in Foxrock on Thursday 26th April. Ladies Teams 2015, results contd.... Intermediate Cup: Hard luck to Castle who lost, very close matches to Woodbrook on Tuesday 5th May in Millicent. It could have gone either way, with two matches lost on 19th! Senior Cup: Castle (1) lost to Milltown (4) in the first round of the Senior Cup in Laytown Bettystown on Saturday 9th May. Bloom Trophy: Castle won all 3 matches against Stackstown in the first round of the Bloom Trophy.
