Introduction
This individual award recognises the exceptional achievements of a CIEEM member during the
early stages of their career (only Graduate, Associate and Qualifying membership grades are
eligible). The winner will have demonstrated above-average competence and a strong
commitment to their professional development. This can be demonstrated through their
achievements, knowledge, skills, leadership, commitment and inspiration for others in the field of
ecology and environmental management.
Criteria and Eligibility
This award is open only to Graduate, Associate and Qualifying members of the Institute.
Nominees will be assessed against the following five professional qualities and attributes:

Making a Nomination
Nominations for the Promising Professional Award must be made by two CIEEM members (only
Full members and Fellows are eligible to make a nomination). Self-nominations are not accepted.
Additional material to support this entry can be provided but must be limited to 4 pages. This can
include testimonials from clients / partner organisations and/or examples of the candidates work.
Please email the nomination form to awards@cieem.net by the closing date of Monday 1 February
2016.
