DISTINCT IN MY CHARACTER
Introduction: We are beginning a new series of study for the nest 6
lessons under the title of Distinct: Living Above the Norm.
Each of us must make the choice s about life that will please God
and benefit us with God’s wonderful blessings.

A. Motivated Through the Teaching of Jesus
B. Motivated Through the Blessings Promised Those Who
Depend on Him
a. What does blessing in these scriptures mean?
b. Notice that this blessing is in the present tense the
following blessings are in the future tense.
c. What does it mean to be poor in spirit?
d. What does “the kingdom of heaven mean”?
e. Does the “meek” and “the poor in spirit” have
anything in common?
f. Explain “hungering and thirsting after
righteousness”?

IT WILL TAKE AN ACT ON GOD’S PART. THIS ACT INVOLVES
PROVIDING SALVATION FOR LOST SINNERS. LET US SHARE
