What goes into the storm drain affects our creeks, especially the plants and animals that live in
them.
What kinds of things can harm our creek ecosystems? Pet waste, chemicals (washing cars with
detergents), pesticides & fertilizers, oil from car, litter, yard waste (leaves & grass clippings)
How can you help? Scoop the poop. Don’t litter. Minimize chemical use. Bag yard trash.
