Project Manager Reporting to: Head of Client Services Operations Based: BlueFin, London, same UK national travel Purpose: To ensure the successful delivery of a due diligence and transformation project for a new key client. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Prepare and maintain all project documentation such as; initiation, delivery plans and budgets. Develop and maintain project plans and reporting documentation as necessary to ensure timely communication and successful delivery of assigned projects. Develop and agree key measures and monitor these and report on them throughout the project Project and task prioritisation in line with project development Manage assigned resources as appropriate to the implementation of project related activities. Ensure projects are planned and executed in-line with the PMO approach: o Project team roles and responsibilities o Risk and Issue identification and management o System and Operational Acceptance testing o Deployment planning, management and transition to live operation o Training (as needed) o Operational support plans Ensure deliverables meet required quality standards. Ensure adequate levels of documentation are produced as part of the operational solution (e.g. operations manuals). Develop and maintain a Communications Plan and keep the Instant and client business communities appraised of project plans, changes, risks and related implications. Production of progress and other management reports Ensure business benefits can be realised or that risks inhibiting realisation are highlighted. Coordination of internal services and external service providers as necessary to meet project timescales. Phase 1 deliverables – BaU handover, due diligence complete, client transformation roadmap agreed, commercial structure agreed, preparation complete (including scope agreed, project planning, Internal and third party resource planning, internal and third party communication planning) and contracts in place for Phase 2 Phase 2 deliverables – Specific scope to be determined as part of Phase 1, however phase two deliverable is the successful implementation and embedding of new solution to BaU operation. | The Blue Fin Building (1st floor), 110 Southwark Street, London SE1 0TA 1 Key stakeholders • Internal: Executive team Project Board MD Business Development MD Operations Head of Solution Design and Implementation Head of Client Services Operations** Line report Head of Supply Chain Senior Director, Property Transactions CFO Legal Counsel • External: Client Project Board members Third party Suppliers Skills, knowledge, qualifications required for job Qualifications – Degree qualified and professional certification (e.g. Prince 2, PMI, etc.) Experience – At least 5 years project management experience, in a role that requires leading the project management of key client-facing business initiatives including the introduction of new business processes to support these initiatives. Aware of industry and professional standards (e.g. ISO 9001). Extensive experience in organisation wide initiatives and change management. Training – Formal training in Project Management disciplines. Skills – Experienced in/ with methodologies and project tools such as PRINCE 2, PMI and Microsoft Project. Analytical Thinking – Effective at acquiring an understanding of a problem or situation, and developing an approach to interacting with the situation. Strategic Perspective – Needs to keep overall objectives and strategies in mind, and not be deflected by matters of detail. Applying standards – Effective in the application of relevant industry and process standards to all tasks undertaken. The details We pay market salaries and the right person will be offered a package according to their experience. You will be based at our head office at the Blue Fin Building in Southwark but may be required to work on a client site.
