Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities (IASH) Binghamton University Graduate Fellow Application 2013-2014 For 2013-2014 IASH offers up to 2 one semester long Stipended Graduate Students Fellowships (IASH DF) and up to 2 one semester long Unstipended Graduate Students Fellowships to Binghamton University Ph.D. students. Applicants for stipended have to be ABD, their funding from Binghamton University including the IASH DF will not exceed 10 semesters if entered with BA/BS, or 8 semesters if entered with MA/MS, and they should be able to devote all their time to their dissertation project during the semester of the fellowship. Applicants for unstipended fellowships have to be ABD and released for full time research by a departmental DF or by external non-residential fellowships or grants. All Graduate Students Fellows receive a small research allowance. All Graduate Students Fellows commit to present their work publicly, attend other fellows’ presentations, and to some fellows only meetings.
