STAFFING
We are delighted to announce that our new full time teacher who will be starting in September is Miss Emma Paterson.
(Many of you may already know her as she is currently our peripatetic string teacher).
This post has been created because of the change to a three tier education system.
Miss Paterson is getting married over the Easter holidays and will be known as Mrs Little when she starts in September.
I am sure you will join me in welcoming her. She is a very experienced, hardworking loyal teacher and we feel extremely
lucky to have her joining our team.
Mrs Allen, Head teacher.
SCHOOL UNIFORM
Lots of parents have reported missing school uniform.
Can you please check all the school uniform you have does actually belong to you – if not please return it to school.
Thanks very much!
CAR PARKING OUTSIDE SCHOOL
Our neighbours have asked that we do not park in front of their drive way. Please be very considerate when parking
anywhere along Church Street.
Thank you very much!

They have agreed to do it! We will let you

know the results in the next newsletter.
and would like to thank Mrs Frampton
from Mrs Collett & Silver Birch class.
WILLOW CLASS
Willow class enjoyed a wonderful book
day. All the children made a huge
effort and looked fantastic in their
superhero outfits (thank you to all
parents and carers for taking the time to
arrange costumes; it really was a
fantastic day and well worth it).
Our budding bookworms all created fantastic art for our bookmark competition and it was genuinely
very difficult to pick winners as everybody had produced such wonderful work. However, Mrs Allen
finally had to choose and here are our winners.
Robyn and Olivia

Well done girls!
OAK
CLASS
Oak class are continuing to enjoy their superhero topic. They have found out about the emergency
services (real life heroes). They have designed gadgets and masks for their superhero and are
looking forward to an afternoon of creating, when they will make their own superhero costume.
They are really enjoying their fencing sessions and I’m sure we will have some excellent fencers in
the future.
