Laurie Henkel called the November 3, 2015 board meeting to order at 8:10 p.m.
ATTENDANCE: Officers: Laurie Henkel, Pres, / Dir., Rose Marie Henry, Treas. / Dir., and Janet
Stevenson, Sec. /Dir. Directors: Mary Ann Hughes, Debbie Price, Eldona Arns, Bob Henry, and Bob
Barrett. Guests: Bill Hughes.
MINUTES: A motion to approve the October 4, 2015 board meeting minutes was made by Bob Barrett
and was seconded by Eldona Arns. The motion was carried.
TREASURER’S REPORT: The treasurer’s report was presented by Rose Marie Henry. There is
$104,735.83 in our account. The scholarship donation has been made.
CORRESPONDENCE: No report.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Amateur: No report.
Membership: Laurie Henkel reported that we currently have 109 members.
Newsletter: No report.
Junior Activities: Debbie Price reported that the judging team placed fourth. Emily Barker placed well.
The board discussed having the judging team expenses as an item in the budget.
Region 1: Mary Ann Hughes reported that there is a Region 1 meeting this Saturday, November 7th.
House & Property: No report.
Judges Selection: The committee is working on judges for the 2016 show. Sunday would be English trail.
We have been asked to add ranch pleasure.
Insurance: No report.
Fall Show and Futurity/Maturity: Mary Ann Hughes reported that they will be revamping classes.
There was a discussion about having three days of trail classes.
Publicity: No report.
Christmas Event: Debbie Price reported that currently have 20 reservations for the mystery dinner theater
at the Doubletree in Claremont on December 5th at 6:00 p.m.
Historian: No report.
Pacific Slope: No report.
Scholarship: No report.
Website/Facebook: No report.
ACS Youth Show: April 10th or 17th were discussed as possible dates for the show.

Nominations for 2016 Board of Directors: Nominated for 2016 Board of Directors – Bob Barrett, Bob
Henry, Janet Stevenson, Laurie Henkel, Eldona Arns, Debbie Price, Rose Marie Henry, Elizabeth
Broadbent, Bill Hughes, and Mary Ann Hughes. Carryovers are: Mary Ann Hughes, Bob Hughes, and
Laurie Henkel.
A motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Mary Ann Hughes and was seconded by Bob Henry. The
motion was carried.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:47 p.m.
