At a Salon on Feminism that Feminist.com recently held, Kathy LeMay made an “ask” for
supporting funds for our organization. Kathy’s inspiring speech about generosity and
philanthropy closed the program and brought the house down. Not only was it compelling and
powerful, but it resulted in raising thousands of dollars. In addition, her moving account of her
personal story grabbed everyone’s heart and soul. Afterwards, so many people came up to me
and told me how much they were affected by her speech.
