SCHOLARSHIP PROPOSAL
 To assist players who have competed in the Bayside
competition in the previous 12 – 24 months.
 The scholarship is to be based on performances in
Tournaments, Tennis Victoria Pennant and Vic Junior
Competition. Australian ranking improvement will also be
taken into consideration.
 The aim of the scholarship is to provide support for travel,
competitive play and coaching.
 A committee will accept nominations from Bayside Vic Junior
Convenor, Coaches, Bayside Record Secretaries and conduct
interviews where deemed appropriate.
 Application will be assessed by a Sub-Committee made up of
Vic Junior Convenor, Judy Thomas, Larry McLean and
results submitted to the Bayside Committee for ratification.
 An annual scholarship of $1000.00 will be awarded to one boy
and one girl who are under eighteen (18) as at December 31st of
the scholarship year.
 Aim to award scholarship by the end of March 2007 for that
year.
 Scholarship to be advertised on Bayside Website and Tennis
Victoria Website.
 Applications should be submitted on the application form
which can be downloaded from the Bayside Website.
