Weekly Assignments
There will be up to 16 in-class or take-home assignments. They will be listed on the
handouts or given in class. You must complete and turn in at least 8 of these, your
choice. These assignments will account for 20% of your grade. 5 points will be
subtracted from your overall points for each assignment missed. Assignments cannot be
turned in late or done on a "make-up" basis.
Study Guides
There will be a Study Guide, made up of multiple choice questions taken from the
textbook reading assignments, given prior to each exam. A random selection of
questions from these study guides will appear on the exams.
Outlines
Outlines will be handed out for each week’s material. They list the artworks you must
know, topics to be discussed, weekly assignments, and any other pertinent material.
Extra Credit
There will be a choice of extra credit assignments. Extra credit can be used to make up
points lost on exams or missed assignments, up to 25 points.
Missed Exams
Missed exams can be made-up ONLY with a proper excuse, and at the SOLE
DISCRETION of the instructor
