GREEKTOWN
People Mover Stop: #10 Greektown
The area is a popular restaurant and entertainment that has many restaurants serving authentic
Greek cuisine and one of three casinos in the city. Certain buildings on Monroe Street resemble the
Parthenon, Pegasus, and other forms of Greek architecture. Greek music is also played on Monroe
Street during the day.

The Riverwalk stretches along the waterfront and features fountains, sculptures and parks. Relax

Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History

This is the world’s largest institution dedicated to the African American experience. Founded in
1965, the museum provides learning opportunities and research that explores the diverse history
and culture of African Americans and their origins.

Established in 1921, the Detroit Historical Society’s mission is to educate and inspire the community
