USTA SOUTHWEST NJTL CHAPTER OF THE YEAR
The USTA Southwest Section honors a USTA National Junior Tennis & Learning chapter each year for continued excellence in recreational tennis programming.
PURPOSE: This award is given to a USTA NJTL Chapter which has promoted the growth of tennis through USTA NJTL as a launching pad for the development of junior players. .
CRITERIA: Among the criteria to be considered when nominating:
1. Quality of on-court program
2. Quality of management structure
3. Interaction with parks and recreation department
4. Interaction with local tennis association.
5. Support of the business community
6. Community support of the program
7. Ability to raise and administer funding
8. Previous nominees may be resubmitted, but it is encouraged for CTA’s to find new, deserving candidates.
