A CHANCE TO HELP YOUR CLUB!

Each year, the Point Lonsdale Tennis Club conducts ONE major fundraising activity where we ask our members to
assist us. As some of you will be aware, this is the food and drink site run at the Geelong Street Rodders’ annual
Queenscliff Rod Run.
Monies raised via this event are used for the ongoing maintenance of our club’s facilities and savings for future
capital works and replacements.
The 2015 event will be held on Sunday 1 February 2015.
We are seeking volunteers to assist us on this day. As an incentive for members, and in recognition for your
efforts, we will be offering members a 20% discount on their 2015/16 membership fee (not the current 2014/15
year) if they volunteer for this event.
Tasks performed may include:








Pickup of equipment and food in Geelong prior to the event (Thursday, Friday, Saturday)
Site set up
Customer serving
Cooking at BBQs
Preparing food
Food ticket and money collection
Clean up and pack up.
Return of equipment to Geelong (Monday)
Volunteers are sought for the times listed below. If you are able to assist please tick and complete the details

and the times you will be required.
