The current major problem is climate change. This problem is happening because
of to many green house gases. Green house gases are caused by fossil fuel emissions,
over consumption, and more. Thanks to global warming our ice caps are melting which
is not good for the animals that depend on the ice like the polar bear. Also because of
global warming we have had record breaking temperatures and more natural disasters.
We can help this problem by doing different things to help lessen the problem.1
One little problem that we can help solve to help our environment is eating
green. The problem with eating green is that we are using so much fossil fuel emissions
to get the product to where we want it. We are also using pesticides and things to mess
up the hormones so that the fruit and vegetables grow bigger. The problem with using all
of those things is that we are using is that the fossil fuels are thinking our ozone layer,
the problem with the pesticides is that it gets into our lakes and rivers and causes
pollution.2

out of were are all the local farmers market, family farms, and other things all over
America. It shows you witch local place is closer to were you live. It also gives you
information on things that you can do to help farms produce their products.
An example of group acting locally is the Davis Farmer Market. The Davis
Farmers Market is found in Davis California. The Davis Farmers Market has locally
grown foods form organic farms. “Open year round, rain or shine, you will find a variety
of fruits and vegetables, including certified organic produce, as well as fresh baked
goods, flowers and plants.”4 They use organic natural pesticides. A non member farmer
pays 26 dollars for a stall to sell their products. The Davis farmers market is open year

In our starter kit we have come up with a product to help solve the solution a little
bit. We are putting plant seeds such as bananas seeds, pepper seeds, and others. This will
help the solution by getting people to use less fossil fuels because they won’t have to
drive to the grocery store every time you want to buy a banana or peppers. It will also
help use less fossil fuels because it want have to go through the process of going through
a train or plain to get to the store and it will also help to stop the pollution with the

pesticides. Because they will use less pesticides and there won’t be as much in our rivers
and lakes.
