CITIES PERMITTED TO REGULATE FIREWORKS Act of May 10, 1921, P.L. 430, No. 204 AN ACT Authorizing the cities of this Commonwealth to regulate or prohibit and prevent the use and sale of fireworks, firecrackers, sparklers, and other pyrotechnics, and the unnecessary firing and discharge of firearms in or into the highways or other public places of such cities. Compiler's Note: Section 4701 of Act 317 of 1931 provided that Act 204 is repealed insofar as it relates to third class cities. Section 1. Be it enacted, &c., That the cities of this Commonwealth be, and they are hereby, authorized to regulate or to prohibit and prevent the sale and use of fireworks, firecrackers, sparklers, and other pyrotechnics in such cities, and the unnecessary firing and discharge of firearms in or into the highways and other public places thereof, and to pass all necessary ordinances regulating or forbidding the same and prescribing penalties for their violation.
