across the five states, at the entrances to cities and towns along U. S. 84,

Atlantic coast to the Mexican border, and is presently a primary east/west
transportation route and;
WHEREAS, transportation has always been the key to the economic vitality
of a community, and the importance of U. S. 84 cannot be overstated, as a

interstates, and preserve the historical significance of the towns and counties
along the corridor; ;and

wood products and chemicals; and

transportation infrastructure is essential in the economic growth of these five
states, and wishes to endorse the improvement and four-laning of U. S. Highway

to empower the federal government and state governments to so fund the
completion of the project.
