XXXII conference on plasma physics and CF, February 14 – 18, 2005, Zvenigorod INFLUENCE OF EXCITATION AND IONIZATION OF THE ATOMS ON THE VELOCITY OF NUCLEAR PROCESSES AT LOW ENERGIES F.A. Gareev, I.E. Zhidkova and Yu.L. Ratis* Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, Dubna, Russia, e-mail: gareev@thsun1.jinr.ru *Samara Aerocosmic State University We have concluded that transmutation of nuclei at low energies is possible in the framework of the modern physical theory -excitation and ionization of atoms and universal resonance synchronization principle are responsible for it [1]. Investigation of this phenomenon requires knowledge of different branches of science: nuclear and atomic physics, chemistry and electrochemistry, condensed matter and solid state physics,... The results of this research field can provide a new source of energy, substances and technologies. We proposed a new type of natural radioctivity, which is essential in astrophysics. References [1].
