LO 1.3
Angles on a straight line add up to 180o
Angles at a point add up to 360o
(Vertically) Opposite angles are equal.
(Parallel lines)
Alternate angles (Z angles) are equal.
Corresponding angles (F angles) are equal.
LO 1.4
The sum of the interior angles of a triangle is 180o.
The sum of the interior angles of a quadrilateral is 360o.
The sum of the exterior angles of any polygon is 360o.

Pythagoras’ Theorem
h2 = a 2 + b 2
where h is the hypotenuse of a right angled triangle.
LO 2.1
Area of a triangle = ½  base  perpendicular height
Area of a rectangle = length  width
Area of a parallelogram = length  perpendicular height
Area of a trapezium = ½ (a + b) h
Area of a kite = ½  long diagonal  short diagonal
Area of a circle = π r2
Circumference of a circle = π d
Diameter = 2  radius
(or C = 2 π r )

Volume of a cuboid = length  depth  height
Volume of a prism = Area of cross-section  length

Translation: described by a column vector

The “bearing of A from B” differs from the “bearing of B from A” by 180o.
