The International Creative Competition of caricatures, devoted to 95th birthday of Perm drainage
system (95 years to the Perm system of the sewerage) “Not God but man … clean pot and pan” (Not
Gods clear pots)
Almost everyone knows about a water supply and its meaning for men’s health. However
sometimes we forget about the meaning of the drainage system for people’s life. It is impossible now to
imagine our life without this system. It has a great meaning for keeping sanitary state of our cities and
health of citizens.
In our city the drainage system appeared in 1917. Perm was one of the Russian cities that changed
its sanitary state with the drainage system.
In 2012 Perm drainage system celebrates its 95th anniversary. The company «NOVOGORPrikamie» decided to celebrate this date in unusual way – we invite you to take part in the Competition of
caricatures.
The aims of the competition:
1. Strengthening the positive image of «NOVOGOR-Prikamie» as a responsible company that
provides the service of sewerage.
2. Attracting public attention to the rational usage of the drainage system and the importance and
complexity of such kind of system.
3. Environmental education of people.
The competition managers.
The responsible manager for competition is the company «NOVOGOR-Prikamie».
The committee of the competition.
The committee is setting up for the organization and taking results. The members of jury are
confirmed by the managing director of «NOVOGOR-Prikamie».
The jury consists of well-known painters-caricaturists, art historians and specialists who has authority in
corresponding area of activity. The chairman of jury is Victor Bogorad, the well-known painter-caricaturist
(from St.Petersburg). The members of the jury can decline the works which don’t correspond with the
requirements of the Clause.
The members of the jury will choose the best works according to the following criteria:
-correspondence to the theme and the aims of the competition;
-singularity;
-artistic style;
-the emotional color of each work;
-the work, its subject and characters shouldn’t contradict with the law of Russian Federation;
Time-frame.
The works are accepted from June, 15 till September, 15 2012. The results of expert view will be
present till November, 20 2012.
The competition is open for everyone. The terms are equal both for amateurs and professionals.
One competitor can present no more than 5 works.
A standard bid (Appendix 1) should be attached to every work. It is a necessary document for participation
in the competition.

Demands for competitive works.
The works should be sent in a paper (A4) or electronic version in .jpg in the highest quality. The top
size of one work is 10 Mb. One can send the competition works to 614060, г. Пермь, ул.

The winners will get monetary prizes.
Awarding.
Prize money of the competition:
-1st place – 20 000 rub;
-2nd place – 15 000 rub;
-3rd place – 10 000 rub;
(VAT 13 %)
Awarding of winners will take place at the ceremony of the opening of the exhibition of the best
works. Information on the date of this ceremony you can find at www.novogor.perm.ru.
Other terms.
The sent competitive works won’t be returned to the authors and the review information on them is
close.
The author who didn’t give all the information pointed in a bid won’t be admitted to the competition by
jury.
All winners should give to organizers their passport data, PTRN (personal tax reference number) and bank
data for getting money.
The organizers of the competition have the right to use competitive works (for example, for posters,
leaflets, calendars, etc) at public events in Perm region, for example, exhibitions, presentations, gift books
and at the site of the company.
In case of any demands or claims from adverse claimants the author must solve it by himself and
bear all the costs.
Taking part in the competition means taking the terms of it.

system with the help of humor!
